Sins: Trinity Review from ZTGD.com
5.24.2010 12:47:05 PM
Another review I wanted to post from not too long ago was from ZTGD.com. They gave their review of Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity and rated it an 8.5 and gave it their Editors Choice Award!
“I believe the best thing I can say about Sins of Solar Empire: Trinity is that it's a black hole of your free time. You're going to find yourself zoning into the game and when you finally snap out of it hours will have flown passed. Trinity is a great value pack for any PC gamer who hasn't jumped on board, at only 39.99. It's a title we should be proud of, one we should all be buying.”

Trinity Review from The Gamer Access
5.4.2010 11:17:04 AM
TheGamerAccess.com reviewed Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity a while back, and I wanted to post their thoughts and impressions. They also gave Sins: Trinity an 8.5!
“All in all, Sins of a Solar Empire is an absolute must-have if you enjoy strategy games. The game successfully finds the middle ground between difficult-to-learn 4X games and click-heavy RTS games. SoaSE gives you time to relax instead of constantly building stuff (like Command and Conquer), but you are still doing something (research, bounties, pirates, trade) most of the time, especially when your empire grows. So Sins of a Solar Empire actually pulled it off. It takes the best of real-time strategy games and 4X turn-based games and combines them with enough polish to produce an awesome title.”

ApertureGames.com Review of Sins: Trinity
4.29.2010 10:28:17 AM
Aperturegames.com has reviewed Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity, and gave it an overall score of 9!
“Diplomacy and Entrenchment aren’t typical expansions. They don’t add new races, or many new units. They aren’t about drowning the player in new features, but refining the elements of the original game. Ironclad Games have shown a surprising degree of self awareness in identifying and solving problems.”

Sins: Trinity Review from Space Strategy Games Sector
4.29.2010 9:48:34 AM
In going through reviews of Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity we have come across some we missed before, so I wanted to post them now. This is from the Space Strategy Games Sector site, which gives Trinity a 9.2/10!
“Sins of a Solar Empire – Trinity – is a very nicely done game. It excels on providing a rich gaming experience that will no doubt entertain you for many hours. Ironclad and Stardock deserve an applause for having created a game that successfully mixes the RTS mechanic with the 4x genre in such a fantastic way.”

ImpulseGamer Gives Sins: Trinity an 8.5!
4.8.2010 10:36:41 AM
Checking on some recent reviews of Sins: Trinity, we have another from ImpulseGamer.com which gives Trinity an 8.5!
“In conclusion, Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity is definitely value for money that gives three games with great replay value. Apart from single-player, the game does feature a strong multiplayer aspect and nothing is more than fun than to battle against humans as they are considerably more unpredictable than the AI. Just be warned, have plenty of time on hand to play this addictive 4X strategy”

Gaming Nexus Review of Sins: Trinity
4.8.2010 9:36:39 AM
GamingNexus.com has reviewed Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity, and I wanted to share their impressions with the Sins community, in which they give Trinity a big “A” and the Editors Choice!
“As a bundle, Trinity makes a wonderful 4X experience. While many fans will already have the original Sins and/or Entrenchment, for those a little late to the game this offers the perfect entry point. Fans of the series can get fully up to speed by picking up Diplomacy on its own, brining their Sins/Entrenchment title up to date. Either way, the complete Sins of a Solar Empire package continues to be one of the most engrossing 4X sci-fi titles available.”

Impulse::Reactor Shown at GDC
3.15.2010 8:33:37 PM
The 2010 Game Developers Conference is done, and over the past few days the Stardock crew was busy showing off Impulse::Reactor while in San Francisco. Impulse::Reactor is a “revolutionary” feature that will allow developers to integrate many features such as achievements, GOO, and more into their games. Brad Wardell has written an extensive overview of Impulse::Reactor, and has also filmed a demo video showcasing some of the highlights of Impulse::Reactor.
